Put in every possible variation of Landy and type of insurance. Sometimes the quotes are surprising.

My daughter spent a weekend doing that and ended up fully comp on a Civic 1600 sport being as cheap as she was paying for a 998 Micra

get an old series, put it on classic insurance with limited mileage and build up no claims on a moped

v8 , depends on where you live etc

Classic insurance wont touch anyone under 21

My quote for a V8 Defender Fully Comp was £650 P/A

Defender TD5 Fully Comp was £1200 P/A

Ring Adiran Flux, Heratige, Admiral - They gave me all my cheapest quotes.

And they often insist on limited mileage, and dont always cover any business use.

+1! Or even get ya self a little run about, buy a old landy and build it to how you want one, by time your done insurance will be more realistic

When I was 17 I got classic insurance on my series 3 lightweight with footman James paid about £800 ish if I can remember right

But that was over 40 years ago, when you could fill up both tanks for under a fiver!

No only 2 years ago and I wish I could fill the tanks for under £60 let alone a fiver !

My RR is on classic insurance.

There is your answer though. P38 or L322. They are harder to steal any any other Green Oval because they are made properly.

Some have even removed the 3rd party insurance on any vehicle thing now



Best bet is to get a really nice modded 90 - do what you like to it, nice big engine the lot, then just go and buy a Series tax exempt ID off eBay and stick it on it... cheap insurance then too... seems to work for every other f**ker :jaw:

p38's don't get stolen coz they won't start and are worthless

My Series 3 is ~£330 and I'm early 20s. Also it has free road tax! Saves a good £200+ a year I think.
