Hi, im new, so be nice!
Im after lifting my Defender no more than 2", as im often scraping the underbelly when going over rock piles/mounds etc.
Ive seen a few ways of lifting the body (without buying expensive new dampers), which include:
-Welding box section onto the chassis to mount the shocks onto.
-Inserting specially made washers between the spring retainers.
However, i have no welding equipment or direct access to a lathe.
Id like to know if it would be possible to lift the front by simply fitting 2" shorter shock turrets, and lifting the back by fitting longer springs, and then just buying extended Goodridge brake hoses?
Cheers.
