Presumably you prefer the British thugs and pimps then?
Frankly I couldn't care less who comes into this country, but if they
expect to work, they can pay NI and not receive state benefits until
they've accumulated enough NI. All of our neighbouring countries are
developed countries where the people suffer little in the form of
persecution, so we should be turning some of Asylum seekers back -
you're supposed to seek asylum in the first country you come to.
As for Europe, well some of the stuff they've done is good, some is bad.
The European Court of Human Rights is a good thing as has been some of
the stuff they've forced upon us (us with our Victorian values in some
cases), but not all of it is good. Personally, I've benefited more than
I've lost.
I'm all for open borders, society without cash where everyone is equal
and not found wanting for the basics in life. I'm also for harsh
punishment and legislation driven by logical thought not irrational
fears (there's no need for stricter gun laws - give the police the money
to enforce them instead!).
Oh, and someone shoot Bush.
You know, we're not as bad off as people
think. I've seen the crap out in the US with their "perfect" capitalist
society. I have a friend who can't afford the treatment for her MS,
can't work because of it, but isn't allowed MediCare (state healthcare)
because they reckon she can work more than 4 hours per week. So she sits
there and suffers. Nice.
Cheers,
Aled.
