Chassis weight

Hi all
Have just joined the forum and am going to start a project to build a defender 90 for my son to use on road and in Tyro events so will probably be asking a lot of questions !!
First question is does anyone know the approx weight of a 90 chassis?

Hiya,

Not much help I know that 2 people should be able to lift one 2 of us once carried a 109 chassis down a lane about 70 meters to load it on a trailer.

Depends how much of it is still steel and how much has rotted away.

We are in Glasgow, cant remember the name of the club my son is with but we went to a Tyro in Auchtermuchty a few weeks back.
It was his second but my first, he currently has a Terrano but needs something better.

Just found out he is in the SORC
