My '97 CSW has just failed an MOT for a rusty chassis. It's been touch and go for the last 2 years, with some DIY welding repairs to get it through each time.
This time, it's come back like swiss cheese, with loads of bright yellow crayon all over the chassis.
A number of areas are near suspension points etc. and I've decided to bite the bullet and get a galvanised chassis.
I don't have the luxury of time to do this myself, or somewhere dry and warm to do the work.
Can anyone recommend a workshop near Bristol / Gloucester that can do this work well for a reasonable cost?
I've seen prices of between £2,200 and £2,500 all in, including the chassis and new brake lines.
I'm sure there will be the odd few other things that get picked up on the way, but I want somewhere local that I can trust to carry out the work to a good standard.
