hi all i sprayed under me landys at the weekend with a mixture of me own
30% new engine oil 60% new hydraulic oil 10% grease its always kept her chassis excellent since dad had it now ive bought it off him im doin the same thing . so we did the td5 110 , my 300tdi 110 , dads 2.5 na exmil 110 , my 2.25 diesel na series 3 109 , mums izuzu trooper ( yeh i know shocker ) and dads forward control. but is there any point in doing the series 3 or the forward control. we only bought them this year and is it a case of too little too late ? the forward control chassis is a1 so thats fine but the series 3 has had to had the bulkhead and rear x member replaces cos of rust.
so im just wonderin if theres any point with the series cos it costs 30 quid a vehcle that is a days pay to me !!!
and wot do you do to stop rust.
