chassis help

Hi can any one tell me what the thickness of steel the chassis on a series 3 was made from Cheers andy

Gosh, if they where 4mm we would have more old Landies on the road. They would take twice as long to rot through. I think the new Galv chassis are made from 3mm steel.

hi all, hoe you dont mind me posting a question in your thread, but i got a series 3, 109" LWB and wanted to know where i can get a rear chassis section as the only one i could find was for a SWB on the Famousfour website.

is the SWB the same width as a LWB series 3.

if so then i could buy that and extend a section so it goes past the rusty area.
