I have 2 good axles front and rear. also radious armsect, from 1994 90.
Might go and have a look at this Landrover LWB County Chassis not to far from me.
From the photo does it seem complete? it is a 110, would my axles fit ??
Still learning but fancy a bit practise at building a rolling chassis if my stuff will fit.

Theres a significant part of that chassis missing, seems a pointless purchase to me......if theres no V5 it would also be a disaster to register.....

Mine is the third question on his listing, like he says - it had no I.D. so it's worthless really unless you want to cut bits out to use as repair sections. The question is - why does it have no I.D.? But I doubt he's going to give a straight answer to that.

Was not bothered about ID really, just thought if I got it cheap could practice on it building it up with the old parts I have.

Could have fitted a galv chassis.
I know you're meant to destroy them but seems a shame if they're half decent.
I had brothers 90 chassis on last week for that exact reason.

But it's either got his number on it, or it's been ground off. Both situations leave any future owner with a problem. Such as they build a vehicle then somebody turns round and takes it away from them.

Yes I saw yours on ebay Aaron, just out of interest, what did you do regarding the number? I understand that there are legit ones out there from exactly what you have done, but is there any way a new owner can use it legally?

True, and the one I've sold will be the same.
The thing is a lot of people fit second hand chassis.
Not everyone can afford a galv one, and theirs might be totally f*cked so second hand chassis is the way to go for some as it's a fraction of the cost.

My plan is to actually cut the number out so I can keep it as proof.
Then weld a plate back in and flat back flush.
That way non of my number is going to get found which could cause a headache for both us and the new owner.
Unless of course theirs other ways of identifying?
