Charge light

As a follow on from my alternator question, I now have a charge light showing on the dash.

The small wire from the altenator seems to have gone AWOL, I presume this could be the reason, where does this wire go to on S3, no charge is being made at the battery......

Hi going by the diagram i have the brown/yellow wire goes to the ignition warning light, i will try and post it for you, but it's the 2 1/4 and 2.6 diagram not 2.5 which i think you said you have?
On old fords like some capri's if the warning bulb blew you lost charging and the battery would go flat.
