Changing steering wheel

Range Rover Classic V8 1987
Steering wheel inner rim bit shot so going to fit a mountney classic large centre leather steering wheel.
Seen a puller on ebay that should fit by bolts either side of puller.
Need to go out and take off centre steering wheel cover and double check.
What im asking is diameter of wheel i need being realistic to size of vehicle.
Any info appreciated

You don't need a puller......and 12-16" anything will work seeing as you have power steering

at our club meeting last night saw a lifted early range rover with small mountney steering wheel and a wheel spinner knob for tight parking
owner said it works great and a bit more room for us < bigger guys > to get in and out

had a look
what size is the centre nut looks 28mm or 30 mm
