Changing rear differential

There is a good possibility the rear diff on my 110 is going to need changing. Is this possible to do oneself? I live in a fairly remote part of Ireland and the local mechanic hasn't got a clue. I have searched the forums but can't really find anything about this. Thanks for any advice. Pete

110 has a sailsbury axle, so you need a spreader to get the diff out.

Found the relevant stuff by searching for salisbury axle. Well that idea is out the window sounds like a rather difficult job and the spreader can't really be home made. Thanks again.
