First of all I apologise if this question has been asked many times before

But Do you have to remove the top inlet manifold on the engine (02 plate 4.0 thor) to gain access to the coil pack or can it be done without all the hassle?
Also if it does need removing is it easy enough or a pain and is there a gasket I would have to get before putting back together?

Thanks Guys

If your just changing the leads you can leave the plenum on. Just change each lead one at a time it's very fiddly but quite possible. If your changing the coils it's a plenum
Off job, if this is the case look for my post "gassed up" there is a walkthrough there with pictures.

Yep, but make sure you do ONE at a TIME!!!!!

That way you can match lenghts of replacement leads, more importantly, get them in the right order!

You'll have sore hands afterwards tho.....not a lot of space, but do-able!

If you dont have gas on it take the plenum off. You will need to unscrew the two 10mm bolts holding the top of the coils on. trust me its a pain and youl need a skin transplant on the back of your hands. If youve not bought the leads get magnacor or racing leads. The originals are crap and only last a year if your lucky

Thanks guys, Think I will be loosing some skin tomorrow, My car has LPG so will just try and be patient!!!;)

Well all, I changed the HT leads today and did'nt lose any skin :D

Not as bad as I thought it was going to be and was able to change most of them from the right hand side (Battery side).
And the best thing of all........it started without any problems :D

Thanks all for the advise.......:5bcheers2: cheers!!
