Hey all,

If it is raining water comes in via the doors :D Now i already have the big door seal rubbers which go all around the door, but i am having difficulties finding the part number for the rubber seal which sits in between the upper and lower part of the door (see pic). At the moment it looks like the niagara waterfall is going past there when i rains which inturn cause lakes inside the footwells (good thim my wright offroad moulded kit is water proof :p)

Then i have another question, If i'm not mistaken the two door halves are held together by only two nuts. Anyone done this before and can give me some tips and tricks?

when undoing the two nuts do not use an open ended spanner, you'll wreck your door skin!

sounds like it, but be prepared to spend some time gently easing them out. Steel bolts through steel tubes + lots of water might make them tricky to get out.
There is probably a proper non-series part available but it's the same thing, and probably a lot cheaper. They only used these types of door tops of military 90/110 and very very early civvy 110s. interchangeable with series door tops/bottoms but your ones are aluminium tops, much better than the series steel/alu clad ones!

Make sure you try and get a decent seal as cheaper ones don't do the job and let water in which tends to find its way down the bolts holding the door top on and into your footwell. I'm talking from experience! Really need to replace mine soon otherwise ill be buying new bolts again and they're not easy to get a hold of

Ok good to know. Uhm which ones are the good qualitiy ones? I tried to find parts here in Holland, but it's easier to find them in the UK. Paddock has them and they cost #### all, doesn't mean they are bad, but if you know better ones let me know :)
