changing door hinge (bare with me)

Hi All

I'm new hear and new to Landys, and unfortunately new to anything mechanical...which I'm finding out could prove difficult for me!
I got a series 3 1983 short wheels base diesel.
Now the right door is sagging a fair bit and was told that a top new hinge would sort that out, it also needs new mirrors, so i have bought 2 mirrors and a new hinge. Only now I am stumped as I thought would be easy. Now I've looked over lots of the threads but I need a serious dummies break down step by step as have no idea what alot of it all means. Worst case could I get a list of everything I need to order as am now thinking may need new nuts bolts things I haven't thought of etc (if I have to hire someone to do it.)
On a seperate note the other problem I'm facing is the screws have been painted over so wont budge and one of the screws doesnt have a cross in it for screw driver, just looks like a flat bolt head in there!
HELP ME OUT!?!?
I'm base in southend way if any one knows anyone who could help or a good garage maybe?
