Hi Guys, Im sure a few of you have replaced a chassis for a new galvanized one.
I have some questions i hope you can answer
Does a new chassis come with a new number
Do I have to re register the car as a new car after?
If I build a completely new 110 with bits from other cars on a new chassis must then become a new car and have to be registered as such? is that difficult to do?

If I scrap my old landy 110 and get a cert of destruction, what bits can I take from the scrapped car to use on the new chassis?

Hope to hear your comments

Q1 Yes and no Richards chassis comes with a number but NOT what you need
Q2 no Q4 will answer
Q3 Don't go there !!!!!!
Q4 you don't scrap your old landy you use its Vin plate on your new chassis

Hi
My landy has to be scrapped, long bank story, but it has to go. But i hope to get most bits back that im allowed from the dismantler.
Put on new chassis and re register as a new car. I dont know how much I can recycle from the old landy.

I 'had' to scrap one too. I just went to the local scrapyard and we agreed that if he had the chassis that would be enough for him to be able to officially scrap it, which meant that I could keep the rest.

If you did that and bought a new chassis to build up it would become a 'new' car and would be given a Q registration number.
