Hi Guys,

I have a quick question about the centre seat in my 1978 series 3, there isn't one there at the moment but I'd like to fit one however I'm not sure how it mounts does it have a support frame or do the back and base from somewhere like paddocks come with some kind of mounts on them, or can I even put a full defender one in as a few of these are cheep on ebay. Thanks, John

The centre seat is slightly smaller than the seats either side so I don't think you would be able to fit a full defender seat in its place, I may be wrong about that though.

Yup it's smaller, how do I know?
Anybody want a seat base? Almost new?
My S2 hasn't got runners, just six brackets sticking up from the box, bolts screw through them into the seat backs and the bases rest on the box itself.
I fabricated stops to prevent them sliding forward. They originally just had a wooden strip.

Yes they are smaller than the the defender ones. You should asked on here :)

There squab brackets rather than rails 2 x #331006 ( Blanchards have some in stock - Stock List)
