I’ve recently bought a three door TD4 and there is a weird problem with the central locking. When I’m driving along, I’ve only unlocked the drivers door, the passenger door unlocks and the central locking button doesn’t work. If I open and close the drivers door it works again?

Just recently, I did have my inside button not work. I had locked it by the fob while inside I think.
Does the door open switch work?
What if you double press before getting in to unlock all doors?
And is it unlocking after the same amount of time or road speed.
I don't think the fl1 auto locks doors when driving, may be some one has added to it. Any aftermarket alarm installed?

It’s a standard alarm and it doesn’t come with auto lock facility. It’s strange, the car locks and unlocks as normal. I only ever press the fob once to unlock the drivers door and, as I drive along the rest unlock without me pressing anything. Once that has happened then the central locking button on the centre console doesn’t work. As soon as I pull over and open and close the drivers door it comes back. I can lock/unlock with the fob and the central locking button. It seems that some central locking hardware is malfunctioning or maybe there is a short?
