When I unlock my car with the remote fob one push unlocks drivers door, i have to push twice ( and remember ) to unlock the missis door before she trys it and glares at me for not unlocking her door, also if i push and hold unlock the rear window comes down, but if i push and hold lock it doesnt go up
is there any way to program the fob so it unlocks all doors on one blip and maybe push and hold would shut windows ? then lock

thanks.

The one / two push thing is a security feature, single point entry, rear window thing is comfort access thing, don't press and hold the button is my advice!

You can probably get reprogrammed but really not worth the aggro and probably £100 the dealer would charge

Wise words, cool i wont press and hold.. as for the reprog, would love it to open all on one push, not 100 pounds worth of love it though ! shame as BMW you can reprogram the fobs your self !

n'er mind, love the TD4 anyway :)

I had a 3 series coupe and that did similar stuff, press and hold opened all the windows but press and close didn't shut the rear quarters!! Have a look in the manual, you might be able to re program it, there was someone on here somewhere who knew a bit about them, user name escapes me at the moment. something like lcd600 or lates600 or something!? Might turn up?

it’s in the handbook and says it’s a dealer program!

To close the rear window after holding the remote u can insert the key in to the back door and turn it and it rises again. :)
