Central Locking/ no indicators flash

Hi fellow FL1 drivers,

I'm from Holland and I drive a 2005 Td4 5drs.

When I close, or open, my car no indicators flash and all doors open, or close at the sime time. This was always so.

A fellow FL1 drivers has to push the button on the key 2 times to open all doors and his indicators flash when opening or closing. When he pushes the button once only the driver side door opens (I know for you that is the wrong door)

Does anyone know if there is a code to change this so I can open or close the door and the indicators flash.

My fellow driver wants to knwo if it is possible to change it so he only has to push once to open all doors? (no, we won't change cars)

Yes it can be done but the control unit would have to be recoded by a Land Rover Dealer using 'Testbook'.

dealers did it for free on my motor [only takes about 5 mins] think it was for the American market. . . .

Well, I have just received the news. Our dealer can put the car on his computer T4. It would take about half an hour our 45 minutes and the costs are. EURO 100,-- (one hundred euro) That is almost 80 pounds:doh:

Tight bastids. . . . .it really takes about 5mins to change it , but can only be done with a test book program ,same with quite a few electrical bits not under ob 2 that you can get on a lap top. . . . .
