Radio, clock, heater etc all dead, checked fuse #1 under seat and it's fine. it was working but battery died, recharged it and now console dead, anyone had similar, got to love these cars :D

Update, this fuse also supplies instrumentation which all works so I'm thinking the BECM is the culprit  this could prove expensive :(

Update clock now working but I've done nothing
Hevac and radio still dead, I've found out that pin '6' from connector C258 on the BECM supplies this power but will have to take seat out to get to it and at the moment I'm recovering from a hip replacement (2wks ago) so it will have to wait untill I'm fitter
Also checked the engine bay fuse box and found severe heat damage under relay RL7 although the contact blades don't look burnt, does anyone know what this relay controls.

Hi

The other day I did something REAL stupid..... I forgot the sunroof open. We had a nice bit of rain and the next morning nothing was working in the car.
I opened everything and dried it. I used a non conductive spray on the centre console buttons, ect. After this it still did not work.
I charged the battery and took the BeCM apart.

Now everything is working except the #3 button on the radio.

So maybe you must just strip everything and make sure that all the connectuions are Ok. Apparently the BeCM can do funny things if your battery is low. So check that as well.

Cheers, obviously given the damage the f*** box needs changing so will do that first and see what occurs
