cd player

tried to fit a sony explod to my 03 discovery tried both part no 29.008 sony usc adaptor lead to get the steering wheel paddles to work but they refuse to work took it too an auto electrcian who confirms it was right part but he couldn't get it to work either he also tried part no 29.62.0 land rover usc lead but still no good any help would be gratefully accepted thanks

were they working with the original head unit? they have a nasty habbit of packing up

yeah it was all working fine i bought that model cos sony said ut was compatible

I have replaced my factory head unit with the large front to a SOny minidisc and i am trying to find the little plastic piece that sits over the holes and screws in the dash. Anyone know of 1 or its part number ?

Hey NZ oliver, where in NZ do you live? I lived there until a few years ago! Dont know what bits you need but just put a sony in mine and it fits perfect.

do'nt ask me how? but my mates disco has a alpine cd in it and the only one he could get to work the controlls was the one for a bmw????

( He does work in the car audio/alarm industry so a bit of playing around to get one to work )
