CD player problem

Hi, my wonderful LR4 media CD player is acting up, it has 1 disc that you can play ect but you cannot upload anymore to the player. Is there a way to get it to work without pulling it out of the dash?

hi

have u tried a hard reset by disconnecting ur main battery leads then using jump leads to connect both the leads together for around 5 x mins , this should then reset everything , plus not wishing to try and teach u how to suck eggs , plse make sure with the leads disconnected they don’t come in contact with ur main ur battery

Been away, I don't have jumper leads but will disconnect the battery anyway for a while. Did not know you can do a hard reset this way.?
