hi guys wanting to fit a cb in my disco 300tdi bought one fron fleabay went to get an antenna for it but the guy says its no good in this country wont be able to chat to anyone on it its a dnt pr27gb scanner fm, is he talking ****e so id buy one from him or is it true looked on the web but cant find anything can anyone advise me which cb to have if this one no good

If you bought a SCANNER it only listens. It cannot transmit.

its a mid band radio..uk has 80 legal fm channels the old cb27/81 and the newer cept freq (or mid band as its known)..not many got the mid bands.. mine has 80 channels but no one is ever on there..lol

so will be able to use with no problems and communicate with fellow off roaders then if i fit it

if they have the other channels then yes, but personally i think they would prob be on the old uk 40..so may be a beeter option to bite the bullet and get another set...plenty of places sell em cheap enough.,..charlie bravos cb shack is cheap enough...ray is a top bloke who will help you out..he does special offers for 4x4 guys..
