CB Cable (best place to feed it inside)

Hi,

Want to fit the old CB from my van into the Disco, but want to draw from your collective experience to know where the best place to get the arial cable inside the cabin is.

On the van i just stick in inside the door, but it buggered the door rubbers up and led to water ingress.

Why don't you just run it through a rear window when you need the CB, and stick it in the boot otherwise?

I've got mine mounted to the rear door next to spare wheel. My cbs mounted on center consol next to my knee. The cable reached perfect.
