Cb antenna mount & earthing

Fitting Cb antenna to my steel roof bar via a body mount from thunderpole, locating between my middle 2 spot lights, is this a suitable place and does the roof bar need earthing, if so can this be done via a spot light earth, or would this scenario of location and wiring cause too much interference!

Will be moving in time to a rear door spare wheel mount I am waiting on!

I don't think it needs earthing it just needs the main connection to the aerial

it doesnt need earthing per-se, but does need a good earth.
id say if the lights are working fine, it will be ok.

When u say good earth then do u mean a good connection to the roof bar ie removing pain no need for additional earth wiring?
