And just how are you going to turn that thing 360 degrees in situ?? !80 at best. Perhaps the silver spoon types have a better understanding.

You don't wind them round and round just forwards and back a short distance.

Forwards and backwards through 180 degrees, that leaves 180 degrees uncut.

If you look at the chain it has lots of cutters, about 20 deg movement cuts all around

Well actualy mine had a disc cutter per every link a professional cat extractor

factory exhaust are often one piece, we use chain cutters to replace just one section or just change the tail pipes. We have a few sets and it don't take long or much effort to remove a section.
