Hello comrades, I need your help! I bought a Second hand Land Rover Freelander 1 TD4 Automatic Transmission a year ago. Since I changed my battery the Car Radio needs a Code which I don’t know. I have checked from the Driver’s Handbook and service book I can’t find the code.
Please help me!

If original radio, phone dealer with your ref no. They may ask for money but if you phone several dealers one will usually do it for free!!

They gave me the code for my defender radio

I called the one where I buy all my parts and they wanted £30 so I cancelled all orders and phoned another that did it for free!

Hi websun, did you get your code sorted OK... I only found your post as I was stuck also.. I bought a 54 plate TD4 Auto HSE about 2 months ago, and I looked on youtube, read so many reports of how to get the radio out, most were just not applicable to my Becker Radio/ sat nav/ under seat multi changer CD unit.. In the end I bought 2 radio release keys correct for the radio, and in seconds out popped the radio.. Sadly no codes on it but went online to a radio code help if you pay a few 9 £quid in in seconds got my code, or a variety of codes dependant on radio model, and first time it worked... £4 for release keys about £9 quid for codes save all that going to Landrover Main Stealers In time, money (£15 sometimes) and diesel .. I`m well happy with the result... I just need my 10 year old grandson to show how to set up the radio/sat nav/ CD multi change now...lol... (its me age ya know) - lool
