Wanted a Landrover for years so just bought a 1986 ex military Landrover Defender 110 LWB. Bodywork is superb and I believe painted NATO green. I want to clean and treat the canvas. Is it best done on or off,also at the front end it is slightly fading, how best to refresh.

Tests the canvas off the vehicle, it’s easy to remove.

whTs fading paint or the canvas? If the canvas treating it will darken is to a bit, if it’s the paint, wipe over with wd40 - NATO IRR is well known for fading!
