I got the seats from ebay, they were originally from a toyota MR2 so they are narrower than the 3door disco flip up bases, so a few modifications were needed to get them to fit 1/2 sensible..... They do still flip up to allow access to the rear but im going to cut the back off to make a disco pick up so wont really need to get into the back

Sounds pretty complicated to me mate! I'm new to it all and my seat base is knackered but wanna put maybe leather seats in if I can, mines a 5 door. A disco pickup would be really cool though!

Replacing your standard seats with leather ones should be easy, as long as you get the same seats... i.e if yours is a 5 door then get seats from a 5 door to replace with, have a look at ebay for example this auction is for a complete set of seats .....
