Can you turn traction control on?

I haveva 95 4.0 se, it doesn't have traction control as it's an early model. Will this be on the car and simply turned on using the bcem?

95 so normally only has 2 wheel TC, although there seem to be some with no TC and no you can't turn it on and off regretably.

Have read somewhere that the very early diesel and 4.0 didn't have TC. No light on dash to indicate TC.

No, you can't turn it on. It is off forever or on forever whichever you have. All you can do is get some LSDs or air lockers. But no TC for you.
