Can you recommend any 90 Side Steps (with chequer plate tread)

I'm considering replacing my folding side steps for the chunky XS style side steps .

I'm narrowed down to the side steps (with chequer plate tread) (https://defenderupgrades.co.uk/product/defender-90-side-steps-chequer-tread-plate/) but I wanted to ask whether anyone has any recommendations, warnings or brands/sellers I should avoid?

lt depends on what you want from the steps. Some are not much use as an aid to getting in the vehicle as they don't stick out far enough.

l've just fitted the twin tube side steps to my 110 and they are great, l bought genuine Land Rover ones and they fit better than the Britpart ones l had on before.

They seem to start rusting after a couple of years, if you can get stainless steel ones they'll last a lot longer.

We had stainless steel side steps on our 90 TD5 and after 8 years they were still perfect
