HI. I am new here and I don't know if I can a post a thread here.

I wanted to find out that is it possible to add Dickie Seats to a Land Rover Freelander?

should really be in the freelander section.

you can fit the seats by all means if you are handy enough with a welder.

HOWEVER:

your insurance will be null and void, and it will not be legal to use the seats, and I think the wheel arches would protrude too far into the boot space for this to work, and I don't think there will be enough headroom.

sadly, life just isn't that simple.

it really comes down to type approval. one (or more) versions of the disco was submitted for approval with the dickie seats in, and they subsequently passed that approval, as the discovery was designed to take them, with appropriate mounting points, chassis rail locations, seat belt mounts and the like.

however, the freelander was only ever designed for the boot to be a boot. as I have said before, and echoed by mike whiskey (****, sound like a police radio there for a mo), there really isn't the room. sure anything can be made to fit, but the legalities and technicalities make the project unfeasable. Also, has no chassis, only subframes.

wish you luck if you decide to proceed.
