i have no diesel coming up to the injectors my last range rover did this and it was a split wire to the fuel cut off replaced it good as new but i have same problem to another p38 so i put a live to the cut off and it clicks but no fuel uo to injectors?? so just wondering could it be a dodgy solanoied or is it either it works or it doesn't:confused:

hi right i,v been there.......i undid the solenoid cable (after testing first with a multimeter to see if 12volt was present ) which it was so removed cable (after diss battery) removed solenoid (caution as you lift it as there is a small..small spring and plunger which may fall out) then if the spring plunger is left behind,,carefully lift both out using a small long nose pliers or tweezers.....put on one side with care,,,,,,then put the top of the solenoid back in place (minus spring and plunger) thus creating an open solenoid situation......then turn over engine.....but remember to put a mole grip or clamp on the fuel pipe between the fuel filter and d.i.pump this is your only means to stop the engine....hope this helps....let us know....regards....chris

if its turning over and not firing you might need a relearn on the becm as it drops its memory and sends the wrong code out to the mangement system it wont flash any message up on the dash, it has the symptons of no diesel coming thru when turning over had this done to mine a few timesa local specalist can do it in a few mins or you can get a syncmate thru ebay or BBSGUY on here and it only takes about 40 seconds takes longer to go under the dash and plug it in than the box takes to do the job
