Sell me a nice 90 300tdi CSW or possibly an early TD5

I'd actually like a 300tdi as l have a 110 TD5 already.
But l want a GOOD one.

I looked at a few over the weekend, and most are well worn. There were a couple with new chassis but a look round revealed 1,000 other jobs to do.

Are there any really good ones for sale.....not new, but just really nice.

My budget is £8-12,000.

Any dealers that people can recommend? If l cannot get a good 300tdi then l will go for a TD5, these seem easier to get in good condition once you look over £10,000

Speak to aaron morris, a beautiful total rebuild with a 4 or 6bt engine in, nut by nut rebuild all pics can be viewed on here, I'm sure he wouldnt mind letting it go for 12k

Well I was nearly tempted there but I just couldn't part with it. 1996 90 CSW 300 TDi. In the last twelve months it's had the following (in no particular order): Marsland galvanised chassis, new exhaust system, 4 calipers and pads, 4 discs, new brake pipes, cambelt, auxiliary belt tensioner, partial rewiring, new radiator, Exmoor Trim canvas front seat covers, new headlights, windscreen rubber and door seals, new rear door lock, complete chassis bushing kit, new speedo cable, engine oil leaks sorted, rear headlining, adjustable towbar and I'm sure I've missed loads out.

Over Xmas a new handbrake cable will be fitted. Yes I'm sure you can guess that I'm one of the victims of a certain dealer located in Bolton - although I've seen none of his adverts for while now. Having done all that it would have to be very serious money.

You could pick up an early Freelander 2 for that sort of money. £8k is around the starting price.
