Can some one help me out please

hi as some of you will no i have had a nightmare with my l322 td6 now I have done everything engine steering and gearbox oil pump car is fully back to gever and runs great but I have put 9 lt off gearbox oil in and I need more as she is still taking in but now I have a kicking Sound coming from the box so I can go i to reverse then drive then wean I go back in to reverse to go in to park i get the kicking and just turn the engine off whats up thanks

There’s few different gearboxes. Normally GM box is just under 10L? IIRC
when dry.
When you change gearbox oil bout half is in the torque converter and valve block that doesn’t really drain out, how much did you get out before refilling?
Not just drop and refill like an R380

Its a gm yes did not look but I had the box out put a new Torque converter in put a lt in that but the full box was draind
