hi people can anyone help me,what f////ing engine is in the photos please,its doing my nut in:doh: i think its a perkins 3.9, i found 2 sets of numbers on th block 1. 236 ur 1308 m&p 010
2.3711276
its a b reg 110 hightop.

At a guess 1.6 or 2.0 inlet over exhaust Series engine. But it's been a long long time since I had a proper look at one

looks like a perkins 4.203 or a 4.192 to me

No idea, but definitely not 1.6/2litre:
It looks nothing like it
It would be unbelievably underpowered in a 110
It did not have fuel injection, petrol or diesel.

rekon 4.236 or 4.203.if it is a 4.236 it shunt be under powered if its running rite,but it will be slow.thort it wa a BMC 3.8 at first glance,but think its a perkins now av ad a proper luk.

looks like a 4203 perkins to me as well. have they butchered the bell housing to get the starter to fit? did on one i had many moons ago. went ok .
