Can Anyone Point me in the wright direction for a copy of rave?

Hi,

Further to my post regarding the gearbox problem im having, a couple of people have advised me to check the selector setup with a copy of Rave. Unfortunatly, i dont have it nor does anyone i know. Can anyone help?

just out of curiosity, what steps have you taken to find a copy of RAVE ?

i think he is doing well without help from his guide dog

lets hope they taught his guide dog to use the SEARCH feature

Ive found it.

To be honest i did not realise there was a search bar on here! any ways ive just have a good look and im off outside now with my spanners. I will let you all know how i get on.

Hi,

Wright ive been out there for the last couple of hours, i disassembled the selector as describled and then put it back together as per instructions in RAVE. Still no joy.

You can now find 1st, 2nd and 3rd on the manual side of things, but the red light next to the knob still stays on 1st,
if you select D it will go back into 3rd.
At first we thought in was in limp mode, but after putting it on the testbook there are no fault codes.

Im well and truly stumped the car does not seem to think there is a problem with the gearbox???

my friend thinks it may be a gearbox ecu problem, or the senors, or well anything!

anyone any ideas or is it a trip to the garage?
