Can anyone help

Hi

I am new to the site, though I have had my 3 dr Freelander for 7 years.
At the time of buying I chose a hard top, and the soft top was a bit expensive as an extra. As the 1 series has now been discontinued, I thought I may be able to buy a new softtop at a good price, but not to be. So I have purchased a 2nd hand from e-bay, but of course no fitting instructions - does anyone have a copy I could buy? Or handy tips. I also purchased on e-bay a parcel shelf and guess what there are no parts to fit it, any advice on that would be welcome.
Though I am trying to get a refund as goods not really fit for purpose, but not getting very far at the moment.

Hi,the parcel shelf is very easy- there is a kit that consists of a couple of brackets and 4 screws these fit into existing locations so you cant go wrong really they are on ebay most of the time or i dont think they are too expensive from dealer.soft top i believe clips on in various places and i think a few searches and you will find some instructions,parcel shelf is one of the best things i have bought so dont be too hasty in returning as im sure you will find the fittings. I think a brief version of the soft top instructions are in your manual. If not then search for RAVE on google. To be honest it's pretty obvious once you get the hardback off. If youhave trouvble raising the rear window once your soft top is on then use a bit of cardboard to make sure the sensor/ button ispressed down. You'll know what I mean when you get the hard top off
