Hi all,
Down at the track, quite a few lads use thier Landy's for pulling broken down vehicle back to the pits.
I am looking at making some quick fit light bars and need some measurements.
I would like the width of the roof from gutter to gutter at the rear and the height from the gutter to the top of the roof.
If you think of a roof rack fixing, thats what I am trying to achieve.
I hope the picture shows you what I am after?

Coz I can make one for nothing and the club is just reforming after a bad financial problem.

Not to worry then, I will get the measurments from somewhere else, sorry I asked!

if you have access to the landy get a tape measure and measure at the back between the gutters , to measure the height from gutter to top of roof put a straight edge on the roof and measure down to gutter. If you have'nt got the landy to hand i'll measure my 90 tomorrow if you want.

I'm guessing the 200's you're on about are disco's? if so I'll measure mine in the morning.

Thank you very much Barmatt.
The Landy is 80 miles away in North Wales, I am in Wigan, so I just can't nip round and measure it.
Thank you for any help. I hope you understand the picture, knowing what measurements required?

if you made them adjustable you could fit them to any vehicle, i would take measurements but i had a series 3 with a truck cab
I thought about that, but they will only be going on a Landy, still in my mind to do some that way though,
Thanks.

i was thinking that way you could make a single pattern and it will fit both a defender and a discovery...or any thing with a gutter

Hope this helps ...

Tape end is held at centre of gutter, and about an inch above highest point of roof ...
