Can any one tell me what this is..?.
Started leaking overnight and I cant work out what it is. Drivers side under the manifold. Metal cylinder with various pipe attached.. Its not leaking oil, it tastes more like antifreeze..yuk

LOL, what I meant was, and just to make life simpler and try to prevent any possible confusion.

Your introduce yourself post states it is a Disco 2 TD5. But not everyone will have read that. So anyone looking at this post will have to make an assumption on what the engine is.

It makes life easier when asking a question if the vehicle model ie D1 or D2 and / or specific engine are stated, i.e 200tdi / 300tdi / Td5. ( all of these are 2.5 turbo diesels)

Thats a leaky fuel cooler i have alright. Just gonna check to see if its a leaking hose first, but not looking hopefull..

Another thing worth checking and confirming is what engine you have regarding whether it is a 10P or 15P engine. Age wise it should be a 10P. But if I was you I would check the engine number anyway. In case it has been changed. May make life easier when trying to source parts in the future or trouble shoot.

Hey Bagshot... just an ironic thought..you have a circle with an arrow..... if you had an arrow with a circle drawn on ya photo we could all see exactly what and where your leak is coming from ....wipe the whole area with a big wad of kitchen paper towels til its as clean/dry as poss then stuff some more clean paper towels in the area....then slowly look closely as you remove the towels.... this should after a few secs or a min highlight exactly where the leak is coming from . GL, Eg.
