This is a follow on from my previous thread - td5 oil leak on right hand side.
The head and head gasket were replaced in March 2011 on my defender td5 by the previous owner. Unfortunately it is now leaking from the joint between the camshaft carrier and head gasket. Do you think I could get away with resealing the camshaft carrier without replacing the head gasket? Would I still need new head bolts? In theory this could be done in-stu, as the manifolds would hold the head in place?
