Cabin sizes

Hi all,

Are all the defenders same size in the cockpit.? 90 and 110 with bulkhead I guess are same size in terms of seats going back on rails.What about double cab? No bulkhead? More room to go back?

I think my issue is that once bulkhead removed, and seat rail risers put in it would still be cramped. I need the rails to go back about 5-6 inches more! Why they make em so small!!

Just viewed a beautiful one completely rebuilt new chassis the works! Just too cramped to safely operate the pedals.

can't you use some box section for the risers and mount the seats back like MUD Seat Rails ?

I reckon your issue is that your legs are too long

How tall are you that you need it that far back ?

6 ft 3 with 35 inch legs here with seat in stock position and my mate whos 6ft 6 loves driving it.

Im 6f 3, Cant understand how ur able to drive em comfortably? ive wide shoulders too. I think door panel sticks out taking up room any ideas?

get a bulkhead removal bar, fit mudrails or make your own, amazing what a difference the seat rails and bulkhead can make.
not sure why it appears it is such a big issue for you when there are some right bigguns using landies without major issues. width wise, I would guess you are SOL, unless you want to have the seats and steering wheel out of line.

You can always ask if someone who lives near you and has a modded landy would let you have a sit in it and a pootle around a local car park.

apart from that, sell the landie and buy something else.
