c42 cd cable wanted

land rover part number HSTC53117 goes with the pictured head unit, which is a Philips C42. not sure if its the rc026 changer though as it doesn't have any philips markings.

hi ive just gone out and pulled it out,the code on the radio is a rg597 or dc597 whih ever part ya read anyone know which cd changer goes with this ? small rectangular 10 way socket unde passenger seat...ta

The unit pictured is a C42. It requires and Alpine CD changer (Unique to Land Rover) with black rectangular plastic plug.

Alpine CD changer from land rover is sooo expensive, over 500 quid :eek:!!!
Got one fer me disco, genuine Alpine land rover one, just over 100 quid :D.
Look on fleabay for alpine CD changer, got mine from brit-car.co.uk, next day delivery, great service.
