Hi all, is it normal to get a buzz from what I think is some sort of electric pump for the brakes. the buzzing is coming from the electrical box at the rear of the engine bay on the drivers side, not all the time but on first start up and after several brake applications, is this the ABS system?

this is the accumulator and yes it is 4 the brakes, after braking 4 times (on mine anyway)it will activate and build pressure.do a search+download rave.if ur a new p38 owner and want answers read the faq on the forum.and go there Range Rovers

Electrical box? Do you mean the fuse/relay box or further back? The brake pump will normally run on start up then after a number of brake applications, if it comes on very often it may indicate that the accumulator is on it's way out. Something to keep an eye on.
