I have a Landy 110, 1992, and due to wear am looking to replace the three switches to the bottom right of the steering wheel (hazards, master lighting & demister.)

First, anyone know where to buy all three switches for a reasonable price. On Paddocks they're about £8-12 a pop (excluding delivery, which is about £6)!

Second, when removing the old switches, do I need to disconnect the battery terminal or anything else to prevent blowing a fuse or causing other electrical damage? This applies to installing the new switches too.

Third, regarding the heater rear window switch (like this), is there supposed to be a light, either on the dash or the switch itself?

Many thanks.

Oh, and just found this parts list if anyone is interested: http://www.lr-parts.cz/files/defender_parts.pdf

Picked up a couple of switches (Lucas) off ebay a couple of motnhs back, but were still about £10 but free postage

If you have the part number , put in google and see who is cheapest from the usual suppliers- some like LR Direct are much cheaper on postage

Re disconnecting the battery - always a good precaution, although to be honest those switches just have pull off connector blocks so you're unlikely to earth anything swapping them out

Re heated window switch - don't have on on mine so don't know for sure/ but thought there was a light on he dash for one
