buying a whole kit to repair swivel ball housing.

Had a lot of play in the steering recently and took it to my local trusted mechanic who has recommended a full replacement of the front O/S swivel assembly. He gave me a list of parts that I will need but it turns out that you can get a kit from several different manufacturers. Are any of them up to OEM standard?
He said that I will possibly need an outside flange gasket, so would these kits come with it too? Thanks.

Yes, ones with part number ending in 'G' are OEM spec and are supplied with Timken bearings, corteco seals etc..
And yes they come with half shaft flange gasket amongst others, everything you could need is supplied in the kit.
Although I would possibly suggest new ball - axle bolts. 7 of from memory, part number UYG500050

Half shaft gaskets are penny's anyway and are always useful to keep a few in stock.
