Buying a new Defender 90

I've just bought a new Defender 90. Whilst i looked at second hand, demand outstripped supply, and options were limited.

I took delivery four weeks ago, and it is already back in for its second set of repairs.

Both relate to the idler, which has been making a high pitched squealing noise. The part was apparently replaced on the last repair, last week but the noise started repeating within days - any ideas.

Within the last few days, i have heard a rattling noise below the passenger front seat area. The dealer tells me that this is the EGR valve doing its job, and can make this noise in the cold.

I'd appreciate any helpful comments on either of these points.

Keith Gott Land Rovers. He is still listing some on his website.

Around £19000 for a new ROW LHD 110 300tdi. Just a bit less than a new model Defender. That said, a better vehicle and more durable?
