Hi new to the forum and to, potentially, owning a LR product.
Before I clog up the forum is there a thread already running on what to look out for in a Freelander 2?
I'm looking to buy a 2010 or slightly earlier TD Automatic and probably a HSE so I get maximum bells and whistles but if a lower spec is the right price and has the minimum my wife can live with is available that'll be the one.
I've spent my whole life around LR products, first car I drove was my Dad's original 3 door RR fitted with a Perkins diesel conversion, which he then updated to a Disco and then a P38 RR and driven many many miles in Defenders but never owned one myself.
If there is a thread already running please point me at it, there is bound to be, or point me at what I should be looking at in buying a Freelander and the pitfalls.
