Not the sort of kit that normally goes on here I know, but thought I might see if anyone is interested before I degrade myself on ebay! I don't tend to frequent the shooting forums much these days, and seem to be spending most of my time on LZ, so it's here for now..

The scope is a Bushnell Banner 6-24x40 Mildot Reticle with front parallax.
It's a vintage one from what I can make out, release not long after they changed from Bausch and Lomb to the Bushnell brand, and it's in good nick.

It's currently on my .223ai (has been for about 3 years now!) which I use regularly for long range rabbits (when I can find some :( ) and foxes under the lamp, and out to 450Y in good conditions.
Best rabbit I've had with it was last summer - 320 yard headshot :D So satisfying!

I have some airgun mounts for it (it's a 1" tube) if wanted, or some Warne Picatinny/Weaver rings, but those would be extra.

£110 posted by insured courier or Disco parts swaps/px considered.

I've also got an old belgian 12bore going cheap (sbs ejector) if anyone is interested, but only certificate holders for obvious reasons!
cheers...

That's nice thor, but this isn't the US. Your fuel prices are cheap, but I've got silencers on all my guns, so nerr... :p

They vary from £190-£225 here in a quick search, but that's for new ones and current models. This is an early one - and no Thor, I don't know what age as they don't put that info on it - but it's not a recent one. I have another Banner scope on a rimfire and that's 5 years old but seems to be less well made than the older stuff, and as we know - newer doesn't always mean better!

Was not having a go at you. Cabelas ships there stuff to the UK and beyond .

So with exchange rate of 89GBP plus 25% shipping, is about 110 quid delivered, just saying

We can also have silencers on our also:p

went to cabelas for shipping to uk and fee is 25% of cost of goods, all in shipping to your door

needs to be delivered to registered firearms dealer if buying an air gun, scopes are not an issue

Cabelas don't stock these at the moment, but midwayusa have them at $175, cheapest I could find was $165. Walmart was something like +$30 more. Some are the mildot ret, most aren't.
So that's about £105-£112, before adding any import duty & VAT (£30 or so) and then postage and packing on top (£25-£35). So being optimistic, you'd be looking at about £150-£175.

All of that is irrelevant though. ITAR means that all scopes being exported have restrictions on them and higher mag ones (above 9x I believe) are prohibited with big penalties for individuals or businesses that try to to get around them. Cabelas have had almost $1,000,000 in fines in the last few years and now won't ship ITAR restricted items internationally.
So essentially, you can't get even low to medium magnification scopes out of America, let alone high mag ones with a teeny bit of tactical about them.

As I say, this isn't a recent one - in my opinion it's from when they were better quality than the recent ones.

Anyhow, aside from that Thor please stop trolling on my thread cos it's really ****ing me off now...
