I have 2 spotlamps ready to mount on my 300tdi and have been looking at bumper light bars to help me to fit them. I cant believe the price being charged! Surely they are easy to make for someone with some metal fabricating experience (not me) and maybe make a few bob in doing so? Anyway can anyone recommend somewhere I can buy one without feeling I am having my trousers pulled down and being spanked and paying something silly like £80?

Hey steve on my discovery 1 i have like L shaped brackets that i drilled into my bumper very cheap and effective only problem i have but i think its down to the cheap and tacky spot lights is they seem to wobble but i am possitive its my lights

Thanks for your replies. I may have to bolt straight to the bumper. Call me a tight yorkshireman but I still think even £50 too much for a metal bar thats been twiddled with.

If your lights wobble

get a screw type hose clip, cut it 2cm from screw bit and connect ends one to lamp case other to the car
stops wobble and allows adjustment
